Ryan Terry, professional athlete, and top men’s physique competitor, current Mr Olympia has been training out of gyms all around the world for over 20 years. Coupling his own experience and knowledge of honing your strength to an art, Ryan is now giving back to his community with a gym that takes the best elements of all other gyms and then some.
Ryan wants to make a space that’s for everyone no matter what their fitness background or goals. In true competitor style, his ambition is for the gym to be classed as best in the UK and truly cater for everybody.
When Ryan was researching partners, the PRIMAL Performance Series caught his eye right away. Not only is it beautifully designed, but high quality equipment with the durability to meet all training needs.

Aside from the equipment, a deciding factor in Ryan’s choice was our full turnkey solution and the ability to work collaboratively with him on making his vision come to life.
The partnership supported Ryan through everything from the entry system, gym floor and studio lighting, to sound systems, and membership structure. There are even some custom designed table legs supplied by PRIMAL in this detail-orientated full fitness experience. Every moment has the members in mind, every part of the gym is a moment you can capture and every feature designed with innovation and quality at the heart.
Winning Gym Design
Perhaps the most important aspect of the planning process for this gym was in the zone planning and member flow of the gym. As the facility caters to all fitness levels and training types we have taken the best layout of a bodybuilding gym and modified this. Ryan’s gym includes a functional training rig, and the zones are categorised by body part so members can plan their workouts without hunting down what they need.

Here at PRIMAL we have seen an upward trend in demand for plate-loaded machines. Ryan Terry is ahead of the curve already, as he worked with PRIMAL on bespoke designs. RT Fit now houses the world’s first, best in class, plate loaded machines from our Performance Range including a standing chest press, incline chest press, linear shoulder press and low-back row.
Other exclusive, show-stopping pieces include the 80kg dumbbells, viking press and our first vertical leg press.
Built for heavy lifting, true challenges and precision muscle targeting, but still suitable for all experience levels.
Results so far
RT Fit is set to open at the start of January, but already the buzz has been phenomenal, attracting attention from massive influencers such as Matt Morsia, Christian Guzman, and Ross Edgly.
In the first 24 hours alone with very little promotion and mostly computed based imagery, Ryan attracted 200 pre-booked memberships. We will update this page as this exciting story unravels.
