The Malta Performance Centre is one of the largest high performance training facilities in the Mediterranean, built to support the development of student-athletes across a range of sports.

THE BRIEF

We led the design of the performance centre, drawing on our experience creating spaces that allow athletes to train, test and recover at the highest level. The facility combines advanced performance testing with world class training infrastructure to support every stage of athletic development.

THE SOLUTION

Specifically designed to effectively zone for a variety of training styles, this space supports strength, functional and hybrid athletes.

Key features include six strength racks with integrated lifting platforms, dedicated areas for performance testing and training, and a specialist recovery room designed to support athlete wellbeing.

Another standout feature is the 40 metre custom astro track, perfect for sled workouts in high intensity hybrid competition training regimes.

The Result

The result is an elite environment equipped with cutting edge commercial grade equipment and a smart gym layout to maximise athlete performance across multiple disciplines.
